East London Independent School (ELIS) is TCES' most recently registered school and was opened to Key Stage 2, 3 and 4 BESD pupils in September 2009.

Under the headship of Carron Adams an additional school site called the East London School Annexe was regsitered with the DfE in August 2011 for a total number of 91 KS2, 3 & 4 BESD pupils places across the East London School as a whole. ELIS was also registered by the DfE for an additional SEN called Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). 

ELIS will offer a variety of accreditation including GCSEs, Entry Level, ALAN, ASDAN, Duke of Edinburgh awards, AQA unit awards as well as First Aid and Food Hygiene.  Educational Psychologists; Speech and Language Therapists as well as a School Pastoral team and Principal Clinical Consultant will complement and support a highly qualified and trained team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
