Before joining TCES East London School Outreach

Chloe’s prior school attendance was 15%
Significant gaps in learning due to non-attendance
She has difficulties with expressive and receptive language, Chloe also has social communication difficulties and difficulties managing her emotions
She would get nervous and unsettled, especially in the company of unfamiliar people
Chloe had severe anxiety and would get worried about trivial issues; she would therefore get overwhelmed and not attend school

January 2024 – Started at TCES East London School Outreach

Progression

Chloe’s current attendance is 58%
With the support of her Therapeutic Integration Practitioner (TIP), Chloe now attends classroom-based learning consistently to bridge the gaps in her learning
She received targeted 1:1 sessions in small group contexts to help her build her language, communication and interaction skills
Chloe received Therapeutic Intervention and can now identify her triggers and develop effective emotional regulation strategies
