Mateo was diagnosis of ADHD and Autism.
Mateo found it difficult to regulate his emotions during lessons which can result in distressing outbursts.
He experienced high levels of anxiety which often left to nightmares, which affected his sleep and attendance.

Progression – October 2024

Mateo’s attendance increased to 98%.
He attended wellbeing coaching and therapeutic sessions to support his emotional literacy and the ability to understand and communicate his emotions more effectively.
He received a bespoke timetable, and was offered a personal learning space, with 1-to-1 support to help him engage with lessons.
Mateo has significantly enhanced his emotional literacy; he now engages in longer communication with teachers and is able to talk about his emotions.
Mateo graduated from TCES North West London in July 2024
