Progression
Nicole’s attendance increased to 45%.
Shenise formed strong, trusting relationships with key staff members and began engaging more in learning.
She successfully transitioned into online English and Maths lessons, supported by her TIP.
Her ability to follow simple instructions improved, and she required less prompting to complete tasks.
She is starting to participate in group activities with increasing confidence and reduced anxiety.
With consistent therapeutic support, Shenise’s emotional awareness improved. She began to recognise early signs of frustration and started using coping strategies such as taking breaks and accessing calming spaces.
TCES East London School Outreach provided Shenise with a personalised timetable, tailored to her needs and interests, which provided her structure and predictability that increased her engagement.
Shenise passed her English reading exam, a milestone that she’s very proud of.
She is now preparing to step down and transition into the East London School Outreach Fashion & Beauty cluster full-time, a step toward her longer-term independence and career interests.
“I’m proud so proud of Shenise’s transformation. She has grown into a dedicated, kind and passionate young woman. She has made massive improvement in her studies, and we’re all excited to see what she accomplishes in the future.” Gemma, Shenise’s TIP
