With Results Days approaching, TCES is preparing to recognise not only students’ qualifications, but also the progress and personal growth behind every result.
For students across TCES, these dates represent important milestones. However, we know that Results Day can bring a mixture of excitement, uncertainty and anxiety for young people and their families.
For many TCES students, reaching Results Day represents far more than completing exams. Some of our young people joined TCES after mainstream or previous educational settings had been unable to meet their individual needs. Their journeys may have included disrupted learning, anxiety, or a loss of confidence in education.
Through personalised teaching, integrated therapeutic support, and trusted relationships, they have worked to re-engage with learning, recognise their strengths and begin to see new possibilities for their futures.
Results Day gives us an opportunity to recognise that journey, as well as the resilience, commitment and courage it has taken to reach this point.
TCES staff will be available onsite during Results Day. Students will have opportunities to discuss their results, ask questions, and receive guidance about the different pathways available to them. Where a result is not what a young person expected, our teams will help them understand their options and identify a positive way forward.
We wish every student receiving results this summer the very best. We are proud of the work they have already put in and look forward to celebrating their achievements and supporting whatever comes next.
