TCES North west London graduation 2023
Celebrating Resilience, Achievement and unlocking a new future.
On 20th July, TCES North West London held their graduation ceremony. Once again, the event was hosted by the wonderful Andrew Muhammed, more fondly known as Papa G, who sat us all down in St. Aidan of Lindisfarne R C Church which was an extraordinary setting for a momentous event like this.
After Papa G’s welcoming speech, it was time for our founder and CEO, Thomas Keaney to deliver a speech. His background includes 25 years of experience working with children and young people. In his speech, he reminded the staff, pupils, parents, and carers that this can't happen without them. With a profound sense of pride, he reminded everyone of the importance of the strength and resilience of the young graduates.
Our staff, pupils and students had planned and prepared their speeches. speeches. The staff delivered their messages one by one and shared stories of their time with our graduating young people. Our students went up to speak about their time at TCES, both the good and bad. To see our young people go up on that stage and speak confidently and vocally about their TCES experience was incredible to see.
We allowed parents to do a speech on behalf of their young person. We were so pleased to see multiple parents volunteer to talk to highlight how amazing these young people are. As staff, we can only convey so much to these young achievers, it takes the parents/carers' support to genuinely make these young people feel special, and we thank all the parents that spoke that day for making it extra special.
To close the ceremony, a performance was held by one of our talented pupils playing the drums alongside with our Music teacher, Mr Bojan. This was a perfect way to end the ceremony in celebration of our class of 2023. We got to witness one of our pupils at an earlier stage of his TCES journey, and he was incredible!
Shortly after the ceremony, all attendees proceeded to the school, where food and refreshments were provided. The setting was beautiful, with a balloon arch at the centre, providing a perfect backdrop for families to capture cherished memories in photographs. The delicious cake was shared, adding to the joy and satisfaction of the occasion. It truly was a special day to remember.
North West London Graduation was a massive success! Everyone was proud and happy of our graduates. A huge thank you to everyone for coming and sharing this momentous occasion with us.
