TCES Teacher Deon Green Wins Pearson’s Certificate of Excellence Award!
We are delighted to announce that Deon Green, one of our dedicated staff members at TCES North West London, has been honoured with the prestigious Pearson’s Award for Excellence in Special Needs Education.
This award recognises Deon's exceptional commitment, innovative teaching methods, and unwavering dedication to supporting neurodiverse pupils.
Deon's approach to education goes beyond the classroom, creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where each pupil thrives. His ability to tailor learning experiences to meet individual needs has made a significant impact on the lives of our pupils and their families.
This recognition by Pearson is a testament to Deon's hard work, passion, and the positive difference he makes in our community. We are incredibly proud of his achievements and grateful for his contributions to TCES.
Speaking on his award, Deon Green said “Being a teacher for over 40 years, it has been a privilege to be recognised as an excellent teacher nationally through the TCES group. I firmly believe that every child can achieve despite any diagnosis they may have."
“My motto since leaving Church Teachers College in Jamaica in 1983 has been, ‘Anything the mind can conceive the physical self can achieve.’ My objective as an educator remains the same, which is to develop young minds to the best of their ability.”
Carley Stephenson, Headteacher at TCES North West London spoke proudly about Deon’s award, mentioning that “everyone at TCES is very proud of his achievement and the team at North West London are thankful for the transformational work that Deon does for our young people.”
