TCES Hosts its First Basketball Tournament at the Copper Box Arena
TCES marked a memorable milestone by hosting its first basketball tournament at the Copper Box Arena in Stratford. The tournament brought together teams from four TCES schools: TCES East London, TCES North West London, TCES Nurture Primary, and TCES Create in the Community.
The atmosphere in the Copper Box Arena was electric as pupils took to the court, showcasing their teamwork, resilience, and skills.
Several students received awards for their outstanding contributions. These awards celebrated the players who went above and beyond to support their teammates and demonstrate true sportsmanship.
- Best Defensive Player – Maya, TCES East London
- Top Score of the Tournament – Melvy, TCES Nurture Primary
- Best Shooter – Hamza, TCES North West London
- Outstanding Sportsman – Archie, TCES Create in the Community
- Most Valuable Player (MVP) – Jago, TCES North West London
The TCES North West London team was crowned as champions for TCES' first basketball tournament.
