On Wednesday 24th May, TCES held its annual interschool Football Tournament competition at the Brentwood Centre. The competition format pitted teams from TCES North West London, Create in the Community and East London against each other in a group stage, with the top placed teams qualifying for a place in the final.

All the days' football was played amid a friendly and competitive atmosphere, each of the teams displayed excellent sportsmanship, teamwork and leadership, whilst all shared an undeniable drive, passion and competitive spirit.

These annual competitions offer TCES pupils an opportunity to connect with their peers, build relationships and work together in a competitive situation.

Encouraged by a vocal crowd, teams from East London and North West London contested tight finals in both age groups, with North West London narrowly winning both, to take the trophies home to North Acton.

To celebrate our pupils, medals were presented to each team member and individual trophies to the 'players of the matches' in recognition of their participation and success in the competition.

Thank you to all the staff members who helped and facilitated the day. It was a huge success, and we look forward to our next football tournament in 2024! Congratulations to all the teams that participated, as well as to North West London School for winning the competition.
