tces schools & services celebrate culture week

This spring term, TCES schools and services came alive with colour, creativity, and celebration as students and staff marked our annual Culture Week celebrations.
From the sun-kissed shores of Barbados to the ancient traditions of Japan, students embraced a diverse range of cultures, transforming classrooms into vibrant showcases filled with traditional dress, landmarks, and of course, delicious food.
Culture Week was a true testament to TCES's commitment to inclusion and diversity, as students delivered incredible presentations on various countries' traditions, languages, and histories. The enthusiasm and dedication shown by our students were truly inspiring as they fully immersed themselves in learning and appreciating other cultures and traditions.
Beyond the classroom celebrations, our TCES Create in the Community service also joined in the celebrations with a virtual event that brought students and staff together to explore and celebrate the rich diversity within TCES. Each cluster focused on different continents, including Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean. Students shared their research, presentations, and artwork that captured the beauty and diversity of the cultures they studied.
A huge thank you to all the students and staff who made Culture Week a memorable success. Their enthusiasm and passion are a true reflection of the beauty and diversity within our TCES community.
