TCES east London open day

On Friday, 26th May an Open day was held for all prospective families and pupils. We understand that every child is unique, and our team of experienced professionals work tirelessly to provide individualised support and care to support each child reach their full potential. We are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment where pupils feel valued and empowered to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

This was an excellent opportunity for prospective parents to take a tour of our school and meet our dedicated staff, as well as learn more about the TCES approach to nurturing and therapeutic education for neurodiverse pupils. 

Families had the opportunity to: 

• Meet our experienced and dedicated staff.
• Take a tour of our school and participate in some fun activities.
• Learn more about our approach to education and how we support neurodiverse pupils.
• Opportunity to ask any questions Parents and Carers may have about our school or TCES to the staff and admissions team.

Asking questions and actively participating in the sessions further strengthens the parent-school partnership. It encourages open communication, allows for clarification of concepts, and provides a platform for Parents and Carers to share their perspectives and concerns.

For each curriculum subject, there were activities provided to help engage and explain further on what our curriculum entails. We had staff members act as tour guides and chaperones to ensure families feel welcomed and supported during their visit. By offering activities related to each curriculum subject, this allows families to gain a deeper understanding of what their children are learning in school. This can help them feel more connected to their child's education and enable them to support their learning at home.
